Olly fitted and supplied us with ski boots last year and they were great. I’ve since developed a condition in my foot which meant my left foot became painful as soon as I put it in my boot. He has gone out of his was to accommodate a very last minute boot refit prior to a ski holiday - not because he had to but because he cared. Just come back from a week's skiing having had boots fitted by Olly over Christmas. I have extremely wide feet, so I’ve always struggled with ski boots. I used to spend many an afternoon trying to rest my painful feet and would hobble around resorts in the evenings! The process was fantastic - Olly humoured my many questions and explained his thinking throughout. We tried a few boots and quickly settled on a pair where my heel was well held, even though the forefoot was very tight. To fix this, he cut out some of the liner and expanded the shell in specific places. I mentioned that I’ve always struggled with cold feet, but he assured me that was likely due to compression and that trimming the liner shouldn't make them any colder. He was right - no cold feet at all, even when the temperature dropped to -10. The results were amazing. No late afternoon pain, and I could really push into turns better because I wasn't trying to relieve pressure on my feet. Other than a custom footbed, all the modifications were included in the price. For me, buying off the shelf or online would have been a waste of money; having a proper fit from Olly was money very well spent and would highly recommend.

I’ve been skiing in Val Gardena since early January and my new Dalbello ski boots have performed consistently well across varied terrain. Paired with 175 Atomic X9 Redsters, the setup works very effectively. The built-in canting has made a noticeable difference, allowing quicker and cleaner engagement onto the ski edge. For fun, I tried on my old Strolz boots again… they now feel like medieval torture devices in comparison! So, am I happy with what I got? Absolutely. Bought a pair of boots last year, far far better service and expertise than Ellis Brigham. I ended up returning my ill fitting pair from EB and coming here instead. I have an awkward foot shape and an additional health condition, the owner spent a great deal of time working out what my issue was and knew right away which boot to put me in. We had a good discussion and took all my thoughts into account. Some minor modifications were made during fitting. So far these boots cause me the least issues and are better performing than any previous boots I’ve had. The owner is extremely knowledgable in boot fitting and has impressive personal background on skis. Have recommended to friends and family looking for boot fitting.
