Our Returns Policy
Online Purchases
Before returning an item to us you must contact us, either by email at [email protected] or by telephone on 01143 484320, within 14 days of receipt. From contacting us you have a further 14 days to return non-faulty items to us.
Non-faulty items must be returned to us unused with all original labels attached and intact. They must be in perfect condition and in their original packaging, including any individual plastic bags that they were sent in and which must also be in good condition. Please include the original receipt. Once received, we will offer an exchange or a full refund if required.
You will be required to pay postage when returning your items to us. Please note that the return postage costs are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty.

When returning any item we strongly advise that you request a receipt/proof of delivery in case of non delivery or damage. We reserve the right to withhold the refund if a proof of delivery is not obtained or the item is returned damaged. In such events it is your responsibility to pursue a claim with your carrier. Ski Racing Supplies cannot be held responsible in instances of loss or damage.
Please include your name, address, telephone number, a copy of all invoices or receipts and a covering letter explaining why you are returning the item and if you would like us to refund or exchange the item. With any returns we reserve the right not to refund any item returned in poor condition, in line with this policy, or after the 14 day period.
If the goods supplied to you are damaged on delivery, you should notify us by phone within 7 days of receipt of the goods.
General
We reserve the right not to accept returns on orders that are designated as “special orders” or where items have been ordered in specifically, at your request, from one of our suppliers.
All products purchased from Ski Racing Supplies are guaranteed against manufacturing defects but these guarantees may vary depending on products & manufacturers. If you think that your item is faulty then please contact us as soon as possible. All items will be inspected by ourselves and often by the manufacturer before being deemed faulty. Once we are satisfied that the goods are faulty, depending on the circumstances they may be repaired, replaced, exchanged or refunded.
Returns Exclusions
We reserve the right not to offer refunds/exchanges for items purchased in store/in person, unless they are faulty. This does not affect your statutory rights
For Health and hygiene reasons items such as facemasks, hats, thermals/base layers and socks cannot be returned for refund or exchange if worn or labels have been removed.
- Skis – Once bindings have been mounted onto skis the skis are deemed to have been customised and therefore the order cannot be cancelled or returned for a refund or exchange.
- Ski Boots – Where modifications are made to the boots, including the heating of liners, this deems them as a customised item and therefore refunds cannot be offered. However, we do offer our Ski Boot Guarantee to Fit policy which is detailed here.
Where ski boots have been ordered online, and no modifications have been made, refunds/exchanges will not be offered if they have been worn and/or the labels have been removed.
Refunds will be made back to the original payment method, unless a store credit is issued.
Ski Boot Fitting
When you choose to purchase and have your ski boots fitted at Ski Racing Supplies you will experience professional 1:1 service from our certified expert boot fitter. Please see our boot fitting page for more detailed information
Whilst we base all our ski boot fittings around the information provided by you at your initial appointment, and carry out a biomechanical assessment, we do understand that sometimes follow-up appointments and/or adjustments are part and parcel of getting the optimum fit. In light of this we offer our Ski Boot Guarantee to Fit policy, where we offer free adjustments, to all adult ski boots for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase (terms and conditions apply). Extended Delivery Times
Some delivery times may be extended when shipping to remote parts of the UK and offshore Islands. Although it is not always the case (and usually effects larger/heavier items such as Skis, Poles, Benches etc which must be sent via a Courier), please take this into account when selecting your preferred shipping option.
It is also worth noting Next Day Guaranteed Delivery cannot be offered to some areas and a list of affected postcodes can be found here.
Liability statement
Inherent Risks of Snowsports
By purchasing equipment from or submitting equipment for servicing to Ski Racing Supplies, you acknowledge that skiing, snowboarding, and related winter sports are inherently hazardous activities. Participation in these sports carries an unavoidable risk of personal injury or death.
Equipment Selection, Advice, and Intended Use
While our staff may offer guidance and recommendations based on the information you provide, the customer assumes final responsibility for selecting equipment that is appropriate for your actual skill level, physical condition, and intended activities. All equipment must be used strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and solely for its intended purpose. Ski Racing Supplies accepts no liability for injuries or equipment failure resulting from:
- Misrepresenting your skiing/riding ability or physical metrics to our staff.
- Misuse of the gear or using it in inappropriate terrain or conditions.
- Using advanced equipment without the necessary skill or training.
Workshop Services & Accuracy of Customer Data
When you purchase equipment or submit equipment for binding adjustment, mounting, or servicing, your release settings (DIN) are calculated using the specific data you provide (including weight, height, age, boot sole length, and skier ability) and any adjustments are based entirely on this data. You agree that all details provided to our workshop are completely accurate. Incorrect data can cause bindings to malfunction, significantly increasing your risk of injury.
Where no data is provided to our workshop, during purchase, the release settings (DIN) will not be set by us and will remain at factory default settings. It is the customers responsibility to ensure these are set, by a qualified technician, prior to use.
We accept no liability for the structural failure of the ski core or binding retention failure if the ski has been previously drilled or mounted. The customer acknowledges that re-drilling skis inherently weakens the structural laminates and voids any remaining factory warranties
Where skis and bindings are purchased online without professional in-store fitting, bindings are supplied unadjusted and will remain at factory default settings. We accept no liability for injury resulting from bindings mounted or adjusted by any third parties
Mechanical Limitations of Ski Bindings
You understand that ski-boot-binding systems do not release in all circumstances and cannot guarantee your safety or eliminate the risk of injury. They are mechanical systems designed only to reduce the risk of certain types of injuries under specific forces.
Helmets and Safety Protection
All protective gear, including helmets, is sold to reduce the severity of certain injuries but cannot prevent all injuries or guarantee protection against concussions or fatal impacts. You acknowledge that most snowsport helmets are designed to withstand a single major impact only, after which they must be replaced, even if no visual damage is apparent.
Equipment Condition (Customer-Owned Gear)
Our technicians service personal equipment based on its visual condition. Ski Racing Supplies accepts no liability for structural failures or hidden defects in your pre-owned equipment (such as aged or brittle plastics, degraded cores, or worn boot soles) that manifest during normal use, testing, or servicing.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015). Subject to this, Ski Racing Supplies shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use of goods sold, advice given, or services provided. Your statutory rights are not affected
