Just like HEAD’s athletes, HEAD continuously fine tune their performance, winter after winter HEAD trial, test, and improve. Hundreds of incremental changes have been made to their famously fast race boot, resulting in one big difference. Every meticulous adjustment has been made with one thing in mind, speed. HEAD think so, their athletes know so, the new race boot is the fastest ski boot ever designed. HEAD have introduced a new race balance for better fore aft balance on the skis and in the boot. They’ve binned the old boot board and swapped it for a new non-varus boot board to help a build stable neutral platform. An all new cuff canting system has been added which provides more precise adjustment, more stable connection and less friction between shell and cuff. HEAD have also changed the shell material and structure, lengthening the toe box to reduce torsion and increase power transmission. Combined with new PU material, provides a more progressive flex, smooth rebound and less vibration for better control. Last but not least, HEAD have altered the buckle positioning. The higher screw racing buckle and compact shell don’t touch the snow when achieving high edge angles.
The liner has also had a face lift, now including Liquid Fit to fill those small gaps, taking up any last bits of volume your foot doesn’t take up.
