Liner tension!
Liner tension! More often than not, making extra width in a ski boot doesn’t require stretching the ski boot shell. There are many liner modifications that can be made to relieve the tension on the last of a foot. This liner has had quite a radical modification but once the sole was glued back down it relieved the tension and resulted in a fit that no longer grabbed the metatarsal heads together. More happy feet.
